Y BAR H Outpost & Pet formerly Lloyd's Dog and Horse, has been serving the Kansas City Metro area for over 20 years. We are dedicated to helping you experience success and happiness with your animals. Our staff comes from a diverse background of equine and small animal care. They are passionate about their animals and are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you. Together we can help you anmials live long, healthy, happy lives! Unique animals, different lifestyles and personal schedules call for different feeds and feeding requirements. Whether feeding an elite equine athlete, a geriatric horse, or you need the convenience of an all around feed like Strategy, Purina Feeds makes a formula just right for your herd. But our services don't stop there. We stock feed for a wide variety of animals. Horses, Dogs, Cats, Goats, Alpaca's, Birds, Wild Birds, Exotic Animals and more. 	Dennis Young, Owner, has been around animals his whole life. He is very knowledgable about dog nutrition and training. He owned a pit bull mix named Tank that he rescued. Tank was a difficult dog who had to be trained by an ex-police dog trainer. Dennis learned alot about dogs and the patience it takes to train an animal. Dennis now has a black lab named Bristal, a cat named Barney and a horse named Bullet! Ask Dennis about fishing too! He is a very successful Tournament Fisherman!
	Jamie Young, Owner, has been raised around animals. She has owned horses her whole life. She still has the barrel horse she competed on at 8 years of age. Paint is now 32 years old and doing great on Equine Senior. See his picture on the Feed Trial & testimonial page! She has a horse named Option and shares Barney the cat and Bristol the black lab with her husband Dennis & their daughter Marissa.
	Kelly Jackson has been a part of the Y BAR H Team for almost four years now. Through her lifetime she has owned dogs, cats, horses, birds and about any other pet a girl could have! Kelly was raised by a family of animals lovers and has a special place in her heart for all animals big and small. She currently has a cat named Bentley and 4 horses, Onyx, Winnie, Sky and Little Man. Kelly has been riding horses for 17 years and recently discovered her passion is competing in Barrel Racing. The combination of vast experience, mixed with excellent customer service, makes her a key part of our team. When she is not at the store, you can usually find her at any of the local Barrel Racing events!
	Jana Barcus is our Field Representative & Equine Specialist. She plans and carries out all our Equine related Store Events with the help of the entire YBARH Team! She has taken care of animals and rode horses her whole life. This experience has given her a whealth of knowledge on alot of animals. Her passion and experise is with the Equine World. A past MBRA Champion Team Roper, winner of Saddles, buckles, & assorted awards for Barrel Racing & Pole Bending, she spends her personal time with her husband Bill, roping some and hauling their son Billy Lane to all his rodeo events. For several years, she has secretaried and helped produce many Youth Rodeo's including CYRA, American Royal Youth Rodeo, WPRA Divisional Tours & Open Barrel Races including the American Royal Barrel Race. She is the area NBHA Kansas District 11 Director producing 15 barrel races per year. Jana is a Purina Ambassador. Her favorite horses thru the years have been Brownie, Branny, Poncho, Rocky, Banchee & Dealer just to name a few. Her favorite dogs are Woodrow & Wyatt. When you go to the Crossfire Ranch for a jackpot or riding lesson, you will find horses, cattle, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, & goats! All their Animals eat feed by Purina Mills.
	Kelsey Madden I've been working for Y Bar H since 2008, I ride my AQHA palomino "Chance" in Hunter/Jumper and English Pleasure. I have two cats, Sophie and Jasmine, and two rats, Gabriella and Aphrodite.
picture soon	Emily Holton has been a part of the Y BAR H Team for one year now. She has a vast amount of knowledge in the equine field ranging from training, problem horses, to nutrition. She has been riding horses since she was a toddler in diapers. She started her show career in the cutting pen at the age of 5. She moved on to showing western please and running barrel horses. She now competes in local barrel races and URA Rodeos. Emily has superior customer service and will go the extra mile to further educate our customers in need. If she is not in the store you can find her on the road to barrel races throughout the midwest!
	Erin Paulsen works part time for us and is now working as an intern at the American Royal in Kansas City. Erin has been working at the store for over 6 years. She has been showing horses for 14 years, trained 5 colts, and spent 4 years on the Equestrian team at K-State. Erin will graduate from K-State in May with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Education and a minor in Animal Science and Industry.
